Winter Fishing - Fly & Bait 2007/8
Opening Times
10am to time posted in the fishing lodge.
Lockwood will be stocked weekly from the second week on November to the third week of December, weather permitting. No stocking will take place in January and February.
Fly, Worm and Maggot.
NO other methods.
Prices
November and December 2007:
Fly only = £20, 4 fish with catch and release.
Fly only = £10, 2 fish with catch and release.
Bait = £20, 4 fish NO CATCH AND RELEASE.
Junior (12-16 years), fly and bait £10, 2 fish catch and release only on fly permit. Two under 12’s can share the permit of an adult angler.
Rules
Fly, worm and maggot only. Barbless hooks only. No electronic bite indicators.
Only one rod to be assembled at any time. (If reel is fitted to spare rod this is classed as assembled). No radios. No ground-baiting, swim feeders are allowed.
Only appropriate tackle to be used, (ie Fly and Ledger/spinning rod) with a maximum reel line of 10lb, anglers fishing with inappropriate tackle will not be allowed to fish.
Anyone failing to comply with the rules will be asked to leave the fishery immediately.
ALL ANGLERS MUST COMPLETE THE CATCH RETURN SHEET BEFORE STARTING TO FISH AND ENTER THERE CATCH DETAILS, INCLUDING NIL RETURNS, BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE FISHERY. Failure to do so will result in anglers not been allowed to fish for the rest of the season.
