Lockwood Beck Catch Return Sunday 30th September to Saturday 6th October 2012

Taken 6th October 2012 at 5pm

91 Anglers have caught 90 rainbows to 6lb 8oz
Rod average 1
43 fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 4oz

The weather conditions have made fishing difficult and kept numbers low again this week. When we get some settled conditions the fishing will improve. Anglers should try fishing up and down the water column to find were the fish are feeding. Towards the end of the week a lot more fish could be seen feeding and fish were feeding on fry around the point, holy bush and jetty. I think sport will improve this week in the more settled conditions. During October Anglers can use the £20 4fish evening permit as a full day permit. Day boats are now £10 and outboards £5.
Anglers are reminded that the Brown Trout season has ended.
