Sunday 4th
29 Anglers caught 180 Rainbow trout to 6lb and 2 brown trout.

Bank and Boat anglers had lots of fish feeding just subsurface all day. Anglers fishing buzzers and small skinny nymphs had the best sport.
Bank
Graham Southam caught fifteen rainbows on size 14 black buzzers from the moorside, he fished a single buzzer on a floating line with no retrieve and watched the end of the fly line for takes.
Boats
Boat anglers had the best of sport today. Dermot Speight caught twenty seven rainbows on Diawl Bach and Buzzers fished on a midge tip line. Andrew Sowerby and Andrew Davison had forty one rainbows between them on size 16 and 18 lightly dressed black wets fished just subsurface. Husband and Wife Peter and Ann Mclean caught thirty five between them keeping four for 15lb. Ann came out on top with eighteen fish. They both caught all there fish on a Wicked Buzzer fished 3ft under an indicator. Rob Cowen and Anthony Tatum caught nineteen rainbows on lures mainly Dawson’s Olive.

Monday 5th
19 Anglers caught 82 Rainbows to 7lb Rod average 4.4
22 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 3oz

Bank
John McGarrell caught twenty two rainbows on Buzzers. Ian Vickers and Glen Thompson had eleven each on lures.

Tuesday 6th
10 Anglers caught 20 Rainbows to 2lb.
8 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb

Steve and Chris Trafford had twelve rainbows between them from the top moorside block on lures dries.

Wednesday 7th
9 Anglers caught 29 Rainbows to 5lb Rod average 3.2
9 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 5oz

John Parker caught ten rainbows on size 14 CDC Shuttle cocks from the high bank.

Thursday 8th
26 Anglers caught 57 Rainbows to 5lb 8oz and 6 Browns to 4lb Rod average 2.3
25 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 3oz

Not the best of days with bright sun shine and a strong S-Westerly wind. Anglers caught on a verity of patterns from buzzers lures and dries fished on floating and intermediate lines. Ed Maloney fished on the four hour permit and caught six on olive buzzer from the moorside.

Friday 9th

39 Anglers caught 132 Rainbows to 8lb 2oz and 3 browns to 2lb Rod average 3.5
38 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb 3oz.

Bank
Dave Batchelor caught eleven rainbows to 8lb 2oz and one brown from the moorside on damsels and Les Spedding caught nine rainbows and one brown on buzzers from the holy bush to the culvert.
Boat
John McGarrell caught twenty two fish on buzzers. William Leitch caught fourteen rainbows fishing out from the culvert on CDC Shipman’s.

Saturday 10th

39 Anglers caught 114 Rainbows to 6lb 8oz and 10 Browns Rod average 3.2
36 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 6oz.

The bright conditions with little to no wind made for some difficult fishing conditions.
Bank
Ian Vickers caught eleven rainbows to 6lb 8oz wading at the top of the moorside. Adam Greensmith had eight rainbows to 5lb 4oz from the overflow end of the dam on Dawson’s Nomad.
Boats
Mrs Olive Murray caught thirteen rainbows to 4lb on dries and nymphs and G Harrison had ten on buzzers keeping four for 13lb.

Lockwood opens at 8am and closes at 8.15pm
