Sunday 3rd April
19 Anglers have caught 66 Rainbows to 5lb

53 Rainbows to 5lb were returned.
Andrew Bogan caught 9 to 3lb on Klink Hammers and Beetles from the Top moor side block. I Cozier caught 9 from the dam on Cut Throat Cats. Bill Davison caught 7 from the Whitby end of the dam on a small olive lure fished on a sinking line before lunch.
Only one boat out today. Andrew Sowerby and Andrew Davison had 16 between them on small dry’s and nymphs.
Bill Davison 8 after lunch on the same method that caught him 7 from the dam before lunch. Ian Fenton caught 7 on Cut throat cats.

Boat anglers had the best of the sport today.
Alan Byfield kept 3 for 8lb 4oz all caught from the overflow end of the dam on Cats Whisker.
Brothers Steve and Chris Trafford caught 27 between them fishing out from the culvert. Bernard Fitzhugh caught 7 on Buzzers. Les Davison caught 6 and Brian Gardiner 5 on Cut Throat Cats. Visiting angler D Randal caught the biggest fish of the day at 7lb 8oz.
Tuesday 5th April
11 Anglers have caught 67 Rainbows to 8lb

55 Rainbows to 8lb were returned.
Colin Brown caught 16 to 3lb on Buzzers fished under an indicator from the moor side. Ian Morrison caught 8 to 3lb and Michael Killvington caught 7. Steve Plouman kept 2 for 5lb 8oz
Jon Foster caught 10 to 3lb 8oz. Keith Morley caught 8 to 8lb
Wednesday 6th April
6 Anglers have caught 11 Rainbows to 9lb 12oz

7 Rainbows to 5lb were returned.
We had all the seasons to day 20mph + SW winds, sun, rain, hail and snow showers with the air temperatures dropping from 9c to 4c in the showers. The Ladies showed the men the way today.
Mrs Jane Steed caught the best fish of the week so far at 9lb 12oz on a small Cats Whisker Nomad from the wood side.
Mrs olive Murray caught 6 to 5lb and lost 5 more off all caught on small Olive Nomads. Bernard Fitzhugh caught 3 to 3lb on buzzers.
Thursday 7th April
9 Anglers have caught 24 Rainbows to 6lb 8oz

9 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb 9oz
15 Rainbows to 6lb 8oz were returned.
All but one of those fishing the bank to day caught between 1 to 3 fish up to 4lb.
Only two boats out Mrs Olive Murray Caught 10 to 6lb 8oz two on dry’s and 8 on small White Nomads.
Friday 8th April
17 Anglers have caught 123 Rainbows to 8lb

18 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb 8oz
105 Rainbows to 8lb were returned.
Graham Hill caught 11 to 4lb from the top of the moor side block on Cats Whisker. Colin Brown caught 9 on Buzzers fished under an indicator from the top of the moor side. Ian Morrison had 8 from the moor side.
Bernard Fitzhugh caught 13 to 8lb on buzzers fishing out from the bottom moor side block to the culvert. Tim Grove and Mark Jones both caught 9 fishing with Intermediate lines and lures. Colin Lynas caught 7 on Olive Nomads.
Mike Ayton caught 15 to 4lb on small Black Tadpoles. Stu Walker had 12 mainly on Buzzers fished under an indicator.
Saturday 9th April
11 Anglers have caught 64 Rainbows to 6lb 8oz

53 Rainbows to 6lb 8oz were returned.
Robert McAlpine Caught 6. J Wood all so had 6 to 3lb from the moor side. Dan Lockwood caught 4 to 4lb 4oz. R Holmes had the best fish of the day from the bank at 5lb 4oz.
Mrs Olive Murray caught 13 to 6lb 8oz on a small Cats Whisker fishing out from the culvert. Simon Causier also had 13 to 4lb 3oz fishing down the moor side on Cut Throat Cats.
Mike Ayton caught 7 to 3lb on Black Buzzer.
