Ryan Vasey caught 34 rainbows to 4lb 8oz from the dam and jetty he caught on Cats Whisker and Cutthroat cats fished on an intermediate line that’s 55 fish over two days. Dave Walker caught 12 on Cats Whisker from the Whitby end of the dam, overflow end of the dam and jetty.
Gareth Tilly and R Dodd’s caught 47 between them fishing out from the wood side, point and culvert. Gareth caught 31 of the on buzzers and lures. Andrew Sowerby and Andrew Davison caught 13 between them.

It was still very windy and cold today, even so, most of the dam, all of the fishing lodge bank and the point, were sheltered. Experienced anglers would have had no trouble fishing the bottom of the moor side.
Bernard Fitzhugh brought 20 rainbows to 5lb 8oz to the net and must have lost at least another ten hard fighting rainbows. Bernard kept changing methods from buzzers fished on a floater to small lures fished on an intermediate line throughout the day. Colin Brown caught 17 from the dam and wood side on buzzers and small Cats Whiskers fished under an indicator. Keith Bunnett fished from 3pm and caught 5 to 4lb from the top of the wood side on black hoppers at times Keith had quite a lot of fish rising in front of him.
Jim Tate and Dave Dickons caught 9 between them fishing out from the forked tree on the wood side.

Only three season permits braved the wind, rain, hale and sleet today, with only the fishing lodge bank and about 200mt of dam fishable.
M Grainger caught 4 to 3lb from the dam. Les Davison caught 3 to 3lb from the dam and Brian Gardiner had 3 to 3lb from the Jetty.

Mark Jones caught 15 from the culvert, dam, and jetty. Colin Brown caught 9 on buzzer from the high bank and jetty. Andrew Grabham, S Shipply and Geoff Lister all caught 6.
Garry Coverdale caught 23 to 9lb fishing at the bottom of the moor side. 9 on Dawson’s Nomad fished on an intermediate line and 14 on buzzers fished on a floating line. Tim Grove caught 15, Tim caught 9 on Black Cormorants fishing out from the old slipway and 6 on buzzers from the bottom of the moor side. Si Gaines fishing with his son caught 10 to 4lb 12oz fishing down the wood side.

Another cold wet day that started slow but picked up after lunch.
Steve Mills caught 20 rainbows 9 from the top of the moor side and 11 from the jetty. Steve caught on Montana’s, Cutthroat Cats and he had 3 fish on CDC Shuttle Cocks. Les Spedding caught 8 from below the bottom moor side block on Buzzers. A Chapman caught 7 to 4lb from the dam and culvert. Dave Appleton caught 6 from above the bottom moor side block on buzzers.
Andrew Sowerby and Howard Croston had 27 to their boat fishing along the bottom of the moor side to the culvert. John McGarrell caught 15 from the wood side and Culvert. Graham Solomon caught 14 keeping 4 for 10lb fishing out from the wood side and culvert. Darren Parry caught 11 to 4lb fishing out from the jetty.

Mike Ayton caught 23 rainbows to 5lb fishing both ends of the moor side with most of his fish coming from the top block up to tom’s seat, most were caught on Cutthroat Cats. Andrew Greet caught 14 to 4lb 8oz from the bottom moor side block to the culvert. Andrew caught on Dawson’s Nomad, White Nomad and a small Black Nymph. Colin Brown caught 10 from the moor side on Buzzers. Graham Hill caught 8 to 5lb 8oz fishing along the bottom of the moor side. Will Freeman caught 7 on Cutthroat Cats from the overflow end of the dam.
Juniors Ben Fox and Ella Hall brought 17 to the boat while getting ready for the England Youth Final at Grafham in May. Paul Drummond caught 7 on lures fishing down the wood side.
