Top patterns this week have been ON TOP:- Shipman’s, Yellow Owl, Sandys Shuttlecock, Black Klinkhamer and Beetle. UNDERNEATH: – Yellow Dancer, Buzzer, Cats Whisker, Olive Bunny Leach and Cut Throat Cat.

What a week Sunday and Monday weren’t bad but Tuesday through to Saturday were terrible we had heavy rain thick fog strong northerly winds and temperature’s that rarely got above 8c. this kept rod numbers down. The anglers that did come had some very good sport.

Bank

John Grace caught 9 from the moor side. M Burnside had 7 on Shuttlecocks fishing along the moor side.

Boats

Once again our boat anglers had the better sport with dry’s and emerges accounting for a lot of fish.
T Mc Murrow and A Browns caught 24 between them on dry’s. T Ord and N Johnson had 21 to 5lb on dry’s. Steve Trafford caught 14 to 4lb on Buzzers fished under an indicator. S Causier caught 12. Mrs Olive Murray caught 11 on Black Shuttlecocks. N Neesam caught 10 most were on Cats Whisker. John Harland and Stu Redpath both caught 9 with John keeping four for 12lb.

Float Tubs

Mick Ayton caught 29 to 5lb 11 on Friday and 18 on Saturday most were caught on small lures. Tony Ward had 16 to 3lb on Friday with most caught on small olive lures.
