54 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb 11oz
157 Rainbows to 4lb were returned.

It has been a difficult week with very little wind and bright sun for most of the time and occasional thick morning fog. Boats have had the best sport with fish now been caught from the whole lake and not just along the tree line. On Saturday Ashington King Fishers fished a bank competition in difficult conditions we had thick fog until lunch time and very little wind for most of the day. 17 anglers’ fished and only 11 fish were caught despite 300 fish going in on Friday. On the same day boat anglers had up to 13 fish.

N Aniston caught 12 keeping 3 for 10lb 8oz. Ian Morrison Caught 8 from the old slipway.

Wheelchair angler George Binks caught 19 small Black Dry’s fishing out from the old slipway from our Wheelyboat. Les Davison caught 19 over two visits on Olive Zonkers. Mrs Olive Murry caught 18 over two visits mostly on hears ear Shuttlecock’s fishing along the tree line. Jim Tate and Dave Dickon’s had had 16 between them. Andrew Davison Caught 15 on small dries. Gareth Tilley and A McPhail caught 15 between them fishing on the drift with most of their fish coming to blobs fished close to the surface down the middle of the lake. Paul Drummond caught 13 on Diawl Bach. Gordon Swain and Malcolm Proudlock caught 10 to 4lb 8oz between them. Keith Bunnett only fished for two hours and caught 5 fishing out from the point on small Black Dries.
