Sunday 21st
50 Anglers caught 97 Rainbows and 4 Brown Trout. Rod average 2
42 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 5oz

Nearly all 23 season permit holders fishing today caught fish. Mark Walker had twelve on indicator from the dam and John McGarrell eight on dries from the moorside.
BOATS
Dermot Speight and Mike Gadd caught eighteen between them on emergers keeping eight for 17lb and Les Davison and grandson Ben caught eight on lures keeping two for 8lb

Monday 22nd
7 Anglers caught 19 Rainbows and 2 Brown Trout. Rod average 3
5 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 4oz.

We had a cold northerly with low cloud all day fishing conditions were excellent. John McGarrell fished from the boat jetty and caught eleven fish on Olive Klinkhamers and CDC Shuttlecocks.
BOATS
Mrs Olive Murray caught four on CDC Shuttlecocks returning one Brown Trout of 4lb.

Tuesday 23rd
23 Anglers caught 34 Rainbows and 0 Brown Trout. Rod average 1.5
16 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb. 6oz.

John Urquhart caught eight fish and lost quite a few more fishing in to the wind from the moorside. John caught all his fish on a small damsel nymph fished on a floating line. Neil Clark used a similar damsel pattern to good effect catching seven, fishing in to the wind from the culvert.

Wednesday 24th
24 Anglers caught 55 Rainbows and 1 Brown Trout. Rod average 2.1
18 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb. 2oz

Once again it was an angler who fished into the wind that came off best Michael Kilvington landed eight on damsels from the moorside. Neil Clark fished from the culvert again for four fish on damsel nymph. Ian Morrison Steve Trafford and Tim Grove all had four fish on buzzer fished under an indicator.
BOATS
Mrs Olive Murray caught a lovely 5lb brown trout on CDC Shuttlecock, Trevor Shelly and Andrew Crag’s caught thirteen between them on small lures fished under an indicator.
