Well the forecast said heavy rain for most of the day thats why we had so few customers what we got was heavy rain to about 11am and it hasn’t rained since it’s now 8.45pm in fact the sun got out around lunch time and it got quite warm. Only one of the six anglers fishing failed to catch and he left when the rain was at its worst. The moral of this is that if you want to go fishing be prepared for the worst and unless it’s very severe weather ignore what you see on the television as they rarely get the local forecast right.

Bank
Phil Stentiford caught seven to 7lb three from the dam on Cut Throat Cats and four from the jetty on Hears Ear Nymphs. Colin Green only fished from 8 to 11am this morning in some heavy rain and he landed five rainbows to 4lb wading at the culvert. Three were on a red flexi worm one on a Cut Throat Cat and one on a buzzer. Colin also missed quite a few fish. D Bennett had one of those days we get now and again hooking twelve fish and only managing to land two.
