Sunday 15th
20 Anglers have caught 95 Rainbows to 6lb 8oz

22 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb 6oz

Sam Smith fished on our 4hour permit and caught 14 rainbows to 4lb on a size 14 black buzzer fished under an indicator from the overflow end of the dam. Robert Thompson caught nine rainbows to 4lb from the point on CDC Shuttle cocks.
What a day Les Davison and Grandson Ben had they caught forty three fish between them with ben getting thirty of them most were caught on Olive Zonker fished on a slow sinking line.

Monday 16th
13 Anglers caught 50 Rainbows to 4lb 8oz.
Rod average 3.9
14 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb. 9oz

Bernard Fitzhugh fished the point and high bank and caught nine rainbows and one brown on Klinkhammers. William Leitch waded out just above the boat jetty and caught nine rainbows on Damsels.
Steve Trafford caught nine rainbows on Klinkhamers fishing out from the point.

Tuesday 17th
26 Anglers caught 112 Rainbows to 6lb
Rod average 4.3
24 Rainbows were kept at an average weight of 2lb. 4oz

Derrick Grabham caught twenty three rainbows from the top moorside block and the high bank on blobs. Derrick’s fishing partner Terry Sharp had sixteen on the same pattern. Ian Morrison caught nine on buzzers fished under an indicator. D Jackson had eight and William Leitch followed yesterday’s nine with five on damsels again.
Keith Morley caught twelve rainbows on Diawl Bachs and Les Davison had nine on Zonkers.

Wednesday 18th
14 Anglers caught 78 Rainbows to 4lb 8oz.

18 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 6oz

Andrew Grabham caught fifteen rainbows to 4lb, nine on Orange Blob and the rest on CDC Shuttlecocks. Bernard Fitzhugh caught eight from the point most were caught on Klinkhammers. B Morgan caught seven and Alan Byfield caught four from the boat jetty on damsel keeping three for 9lb.
Mike Gadd caught eighteen on Diawl Bachs keeping four for 10lb fishing out from the Woodside, Mrs Olive Murray had eight on Diawl Bachs.

Thursday 19th
31 Anglers caught 91 Rainbows to 5lb and 4 Browns to 3lb 8oz.
Rod average 3.1
26 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb.

Most bank anglers have had at least three fish from the bank today.
John McGarrell and Steve Trafford both caught fifteen fish. John caught his fish on Diawl Bachs and Steve had his fish on small Klinkhammers. Tim Grove caught nine fishing washing line stile with two Diawl Bachs and a Booby on the point.

Friday 20th
Stocked today with 237 rainbows from 1lb 8oz to 5lb.

24 Anglers caught 152 Rainbow to 6lb 8oz and 4 Browns to 5lb

31 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb.8oz
Terry Sharp and Derrick Grabham were among the fish again with Terry catching eighteen and Derrick sixteen from the high bank on blobs.
Alan Byfield waded out from the boat jetty and caught twelve rainbows to 5lb on Damsels. Colin Brown caught seven fish from the Woodside keeping a lovely 4lb rainbow and returning a 5lb Brown.
Ian Vickers caught twenty one rainbows on Foam Beatles and Black & Peacock spiders fishing out from the Boat Jetty. John McGarrel caught eighteen rainbows to 5lb on Foam Beatles.

Saturday 21st
30 Anglers caught 122 Rainbows to 6lb and 2 browns to 2lb
Rod average 4.1
47 Fish were kept at an average weight of 2lb 6oz.

P Marshall caught fourteen rainbows from the holly bush on Dawson’s Olive keeping four fish for 10lb. C Morrish waded out in front of the woodside and caught twelve rainbows keeping four for 16lb his best fish weighed 6lb. Colin Lynas fished next to the boat jetty and caught nine rainbows on Dawson’s Olive. Jason Nunn had eight from the woodside block.
Mrs Olive Murray caught seven on nymphs fishing out from the wood side before the wind got so strong that she had to pack up.
