The water temperature is slowly dropping and some of the fish are moving out of the streams. Some fish have been feeding along the high bank and Woodside. The point and overflow end of the dam are worth fishing as quite a lot of fish have been seen in that area. With the cooler weather forecast there should be an improvement in sport.

I have been out with the fish finder and thermometer again, at 2pm today the surface temp siting over 38ft of water 100mt out from the Valve tower was 17c and at the depth of 20 and 25ft it was 15c that’s 2c cooler than the last time I checked it. As with the last time I checked the majority of fish are in the deep water. I found a lot of fish from 18ft down to the bottom with most around the 20 to 30ft mark.
